For charter & tour operators
Coach Concierge is the maintenance department for independent coach operators who are big enough to need one and too smart to build one — plus the private owners who expect the same standard.
01 — The problem
Your shop is six hundred miles behind it. The coach is out with a driver, a client and a hard arrival time. Everyone in this business has someone who can fix a coach. Almost nobody has someone whose job is making sure it never gets that far — and who owns the consequence when it does.
Downtime
A belt is a few hundred dollars. A coach that does not roll is a refunded charter, a scramble for a substitute, and a client who books elsewhere next season.
Fragmentation
Work gets done in a different state every month by a different shop. Nobody is tracking the coach across all of it, so the same thing gets diagnosed three times.
Supervision
A coach dropped at a dealer without an advocate gets the estimate the dealer wants to write. Someone should be reading it who knows what the coach actually needs.
The driver
Brakes, tyres, driveline and clutch wear are written by the person at the wheel long before they show up as an invoice. Most maintenance providers treat the driver as someone who reports faults. We were a driver trainer first.
Records
Receipts in a folder, oil analyses in someone's email, tyre dates nobody wrote down. Then an inspector asks what your maintenance programme is, and the answer is in four places and one person's memory.
Why now
A large operator carries technicians on salary, bays that sit empty waiting, and a parts room. That capability is why they win the contracts they win. It is also a fixed cost that does not care whether the season was good.
The squeeze
When you bid against a larger operator, you are not just bidding equipment and price. You are bidding whether the coach turns up — and they have a department behind that promise.
The capex
Between forty and a hundred and fifty coaches is the hard middle. Too many to run on favours and a phone. Not enough to carry a shop, a payroll and the overhead underneath it.
The answer
Coach Concierge is that capability on a retainer. Same standard of care, same records, same accountability — without the building, the payroll or the fixed cost when the season goes quiet.
The clock
In December 2025 the FMCSA began the largest overhaul of safety scoring since 2010 — categories renamed, violation groups consolidated, percentiles recalculated, phasing through 2026. Everyone is relearning the rules at once.
The stake
Passenger carriers are held to tighter intervention thresholds than freight. And by the FMCSA's own effectiveness testing, carriers flagged on vehicle maintenance go on to crash at a markedly higher rate than the national average.
What we look after
A coach in the yard is capital sitting still. A coach out of service on a contract day is a client who doesn't get collected and a phone call you have to make. Everything Coach Concierge does works backwards from that one number.
The asset
Which is exactly why the coach world's default — a diesel shop that treats it as a bus — leaves most of it unattended.
Interior
Hide, veneer, stone and joinery that move, flex and cure differently at every altitude and temperature the coach passes through.
In service
A coach in use is a coach a long way from whoever knows it best. That distance is the entire problem we exist to close.
We are not the shop.
We are the reason you rarely need one.
02 — Programs
Coach Concierge is engaged by the year. Parts and outside labour pass through at cost plus a disclosed coordination fee — we never make more money when your coach needs more work. That single line is why an operator can put us in front of a client without flinching.

03 — Records custody
Federal rule 396.3(a) requires every carrier to systematically inspect, repair and maintain its vehicles. The FMCSA is currently running a research programme to work out what “systematic” actually means, because the term has never been defined well enough for an inspector to evaluate it.
You are required to comply with a standard nobody can define. Coach Concierge's answer is a continuous, producible record for every coach — every invoice, oil analysis, tyre DOT code, ECM flash and inspection, held in your name. We will not promise it moves your score. We will promise that when someone asks, you can put the file on the table.
04 — Coverage
Coach Concierge is built around a vetted network of independent coach technicians and the factory service network, coordinated centrally. You get one point of accountability regardless of which state or province the coach is standing in.
Judgement is the service.
The wrenching is the easy part.
06 — Provenance
Coach Concierge was founded by the lead technician and maintenance manager of Holiday Motor Coach's Idaho Falls hub — the home shop for a fleet of more than a hundred coaches working across seven locations in the Western states.
At scale
Not one coach looked after carefully. A fleet, on a schedule, where a unit that does not roll is a client who does not get collected.
Both sides of the wheel
How a coach is driven decides what it costs to keep. Very few people have run the maintenance programme and trained the people operating the equipment. That loop is the whole difference between fixing faults and preventing them.
He builds technicians
A diesel technician and fabricator he hired as a bus apprentice was the person who replaced him in the role. Finding and developing the right hands is the skill this whole model depends on.
Enquiries
A consultation is a conversation about the coach, how it is used and what has gone wrong before. No obligation and no charge.
